Armillary for Air

Andrew Drummond earned his degree in Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo, Canada and has held the position of senior lecturer in sculpture at the University of Canterbury, School of Fine Arts.

His work is held in various public & private collections, and he has been commissioned to create a several outdoor public sculptures including large-scale dynamic Kinetic works.

Drummond has selected Global Stainless as his sphere maker for his outdoor sculptures including ‘Armillary for Air’, which is a wind activated sculpture that has a series of four spheres located inside each other.
Global Stainless made spherical components for this beautiful work which has been installed in picturesque Banks Peninsula, Canterbury New Zealand.
